The Hair Change on 11/17/2007

Saturday morning I woke up at 6:00am to drive to Los Angeles for a 8:30 appointment to see my hairdresser Miss Janice. (The things women do for beauty.) When I arrived my hair was quickly combed and several different dyes were added to it. I sat under a dryer to let the color set in then I was shampooed and deep conditioned. Several hours later the color was set and I was ready for the press and curl part of the appointment. Janice always does a wonderful job on my hair, it is well worth the long drive and waking up early. Yes, it does sound over the top but my hair looks great. The deep maroon, brown and black shades look great. What do you think?

She said yes!

On Saturday, Regina and I went to Disneyland for our usual day trip to the happiest place on earth. Little did she know that I was scheming and plotting from early in the AM. We did our usual tour of rides starting with Pirates then the Haunted Mansion. About 5:15 we were walking through New Orleans square looking for a sweatshirt for Regina. Luckily for me there was a Disney photographer hanging out around Regina’s favorite place in Disneyland. I waited until the area was clear and innocently asked him to take our pictures on her favorite staircase. We took a couple simple pictures then I suprised Regina by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry me. Of course a few minutes and tears later she said yes (I had to remind her to answer the question).

So now it begins…the planning has begun and we will announce a date shortly.
