Do you want some Pie?
This past Thanksgiving I wanted a Sweet Potato Pie. Unfortunately I could not afford to fly my Aunt Marion out to San Diego to make one for me. So I called her up and got her delicious recipe. I was worried that it wouldn’t taste like the pies I have loved for so long and to top it off the recipe she gave me had no measurements her exact words were “Make it to your own taste.” I followed her words of wisdom and the first one came out great, so I ended up making several more. I had to showcase one to my family this Thanksgiving and every piece got eaten. I was so worried that it was going to go to waste like the others did in my house. Since Steve and I could only eat one pie between us. So a special thanks to my Aunt Marion who shared her wonderful recipe with me. I can’t wait to make another one for Steve’s family at Christmas time.
